WING

It took us some time to develop these small thick beauties, but here they are- light, strong and developed to perfection.

Our wing foil boards offer super early take off due to the special 4 concave bottom which offers great lift and smooth touchdowns.

The deck is deeply mono-concaved for good grip also when winging strapless, with carefully positioned strap inserts to make sure you have a balanced ride.

Available in all possible dimension combinations, graphics and constructions, there are no limits for you to choosing your dream custom board.

To make your flights and jumps safe and strong, we took special care about the construction – Divinycell PVC layers, different carbon fibres and S-glass combined with fused cell light EPS core and extra strong PVC reinforced foil boxes – many features that we use on our famously strong windsurfing boards are used also on our wing foil range. No need to mention that all boards are produced in Europe by our experienced Flikka crew in our own Flikka factory.

We offer 2 basic shapes

FREERIDE – early take-off, stable flight, simple to ride. Standard sizes are 75L-115L, but you can choose any custom size.

WAVE – wave riding, manoeuvre oriented shapes. Shorter with narrower tail and nose surface to allow tighter turning. Standard sizes are 45L-85L, but you can choose any custom size.

We offer 2 different basic constructions options (and many more full custom versions):

– strong and tough S-GLASS CONSTRUCTION (combination of premium S-glass and biaxial unidirectional carbon fibres). It comes with Chinook  25cm US foil boxes. Best suited for riders who want a more impact-resistant board.

-light and responsive FULL CARBON CONSTRUCTION. It comes with in-house-made full carbon monocoque 30cm US foil boxes which are stiffer and lighter compared to all other available boxes. First one from Flikka, again ;). For experienced riders that are high performance-focused.

S-GLASS
is our most popular construction that works best for the majority of riders. It’s a Combination of S-glass, biaxial carbon and Dyneema fibers which are strategically positioned where their characteristics are most needed- X-carbon construction over the standing area. It offers the best combination of strength, impact resistance and price.

CARBON
If you need a responsive board then carbon is the right option. Strong for big surface area hits (landings) and extra stiff (be sure your knees and ankles will like it). We recommend these constructions for wing, freestyle, slalom, freeride and bigger freewave boards, where lightweight and high-performance response is important.

We offer a variety of graphic design options when ordering a custom board. You can order a combination of available design/background/logo options and colors for no extra charge. Optionally, a custom artwork can be ordered for an extra cost. Check our online configurator to see the options and choose the one that you like most. Below you can see some samples.

We offer different box options to align with your favorite foil and needs.

If you choose S-glass construction board, our default option is a Chinook  25cm US foil box.

If you choose Full carbon construction board, it comes with in-house-made full carbon monocoque 30cm US foil boxes which are stiffer and lighter compared to all other available boxes.

Alternatively, you can also choose a deep Tuttle box or a combination of both. They are carbon-made and fully inserted in high-density PVC block to meet the forces the foil produces. 

Keep in mind that combo brings more weight.

Production-windsurf-custom-boards-Flikka

Each product is good only as its weakest part. For this reason, we take a lot of effort to take care of every possible detail.

EPS
foam comes from a factory that is only 3 km away from our workshop. Together we developed and tested a special EPS foam that has the best characteristics for a windsurfing/SUP/paddle board. Due to the short travel distance of this voluminous, we are proud that we make a smaller negative impact on the nature that makes windsurfing a special sport.

PVC FOAM
We use highest grade divinycell foams in different density and thickness.

FOOT-STRAPS AND SCREWS
We make use of our own developed inox inserts that come with all of our boards. Over the years this system has proven to be 100% reliable and you won’t ever experience a broken screw or insert.

We use 2 screws per foot-strap with multiple position options. There is the option of custom number and position of inserts.

The board comes equipped with a set of adjustable Flikka foot-straps.

FOOTPADS
We offer premium white-grey footpads for wing boards.

AIR-VALVE
Our wing boards are equipped with a Gore-Tex valve. The Gore-Tex valve breaths air all the time, so the pressure is always optimal. It is recommended by the supplier to be replaced every two years.

HANDLE
We insert a custom carbon-made handle on the bottom part.
